Religious Right; So Right, they're Wrong

warning: This message may offend. In advance, I apologize if I struck a nerve. I accept any and all criticism you may have in objection to my view.

While the Religious Right push their agenda of 'Intelligent Design', "Science" is viewed as less and less important to our society.

Take the abortion issue. When Roe vs. Wade was implemented, Birth Control choices were few. Today, after millions of taxpayer funding in drug research, we now have numerous choices for men and women. The Religious Right, could actually, if they weren't so ridiculously anti-Science, make the case that abortion is not needed due to the technological advancements in our Sciences.
The Religious Right, in their staunch refusal to acknowledge the vitality of Science, is keeping our society from growing and bettering our opportunities to freedoms, liberties, and pursuing happiness.

Can't we have both God and Science?
Or must we sacrifice Science for God?
